Mapping crowdfunding in cultural and creative industries: A conceptual and empirical overview

The landscape of cultural and creative industries (CCIs) has been changing strongly because new players who have entered the arena by reshaping financing strategies. This work represents a first attempt to describe compare European population crowdfunding platforms used firms creatives launch projects. Specifically, we provide an assessment how where emerge. We also explore extent which government expenditures on services in EU affect platform origin development, finding evidence that is more developed when public engagement promoting CCIs high.
